LGBTQ+ Resources
I am putting together an ever growing list of interesting and useful resources for LGBTQ+ people in Bristol and nationally. Let me know if you have any suggestions
Bristol
Bluebell Care
A perinatal mental health charity based in central Bristol.
Support they offer direct link: https://bluebellcare.org/support-for-you/
I am a trustee of this charity and I am working with some other members of staff on developing our LGBTQIA+ inclusion which also includes relationship diversity.
Rose Hall Therapy
I support people 1:1 in my private practice - face-to-face or online.
I offer birth processing workshops for people either 1:1, partner(s) or anyone other configuration of people who want space to explore bringing in a new person to the family. Birth is also used in the metaphorical sense as not all parents birth their children but may still want space to explore this moment.
Talk To The Rainbow
I am a part of their team team of LGBTQ+ and allied counsellors and therapists. Based in Bristol and the South West, we provide therapeutic services covering everything related to sexual orientation, gender and sex.
Off The Record

Queer Birth Club
AJ is a non-binary Doula (they/them pronouns) and works educating people about LGBTQ+ issues amongst birth workers and beyond. Lots of content on instagram around queer birth.
Queer Birth Seminar by Dr Mari Greenfield - video recording
This is about an hour and a half showing all sorts of research around queer birth. There is a good slide at the beginning showing the different topics that will be discussed so that you can choose what you want to listen to.
